Frequently asked questions
Does the app post to Instagram for me?
No. The app has no access to your Instagram account: at the scheduled time, a notification reminds you to share. In one tap, the caption is copied and Instagram opens in the right format (post, reel or story): you just paste the caption and publish.
On iPhone, Instagram says “Something went wrong”
For a post or a reel, Instagram has to find the photo in your library. If it only has limited access to your photos, it can’t see it. Go to Settings > Apps > Instagram > Photos, choose “Full Access”, then share again.
I don’t get reminders
- Check that notifications are allowed for Food Content Planner in your phone’s settings.
- Check that the reminder is turned on for that item (bell in “Date de publication”).
- On Android, if battery saving is very strict, allow the app to run in the background.
A video won’t export as a story
Videos filmed in HDR (many recent phones do so by default) are converted before your text is added, which can take a little time. If the export fails, a message with a code is shown: send it to us. Meanwhile, you can film without HDR in your camera settings.
Importing a recipe doesn’t work
Some websites block automatic reading of their pages, or the page isn’t a recipe. You can then create the content from scratch with your photos. If a site you use often doesn’t work, send us the link.
I’m changing phones: how do I keep my content?
Your content is stored only on your phone, with no online account. It can be restored by your phone’s backup (Google or iCloud) if enabled. Keep your original photos and videos in your gallery.
